Dear Phil and Cindy,
Just a quick note to express our appreciation for the wonderful work your team did on the total rebuild of our house in Los Gatos.
Phil’s creativity and excellent eye to maximize the space (eg. Raising the ceiling in the downstairs family room, the downstairs hallway and the entry way) were very important to the quality of the end result, and added substantially to the architects’ plans.
The Starburst team was very good to work with in the actual building process.  The subcons were excellent and continue to be helpful to this day, several yrs after project completion.  The team did a good job of keeping the site clean and minimizing the inevitable disruptions; very important since we lived in the house thru the entire process!   Starburst also was very helpful in fixing some of the things done incorrectly by the pool/landscape contractors we engaged before beginning the house project.
The quality of the job, the materials used, etc has been excellent.  We continue to be very happy with everything from the components, the paint and tiles  and fixtures thru the installation.  Literally everything has worn well so far.  We are happy we put in all the light switches and plugs that make it very convenient living.
The continued followup and "service” has been noteworthy and is much appreciated.  I have absolutely no hesitation to call and get help from Phil or the subcons.  It is a great feeling, I don’t worry about what to do if something breaks, or if I have to be shown how to clean a new type of drain.  Its always like seeing a member of the family we haven’t spoken with in a while. Thanks again- we love our house.

We wanted to thank you for the services that you provided to us in our dealings with the house permits. You saved us thousands of dollars because of your close and knowledgeable workings with the City of San Jose. The repairs that needed to be done on the house were done correctly and with excellent quality. You were always responsive to our needs and requests. You were careful to keep clean the areas surrounding the work, and you also made sure everything was cleaned up after the job was complete. Thanks again for everything.

I assume you have received our check by now for the work that you did for me in rebuilding the pool equipment room at my mobile home park. I thought I would write you a note of thanks for the good job that you did and commend you for the good planning and design you came up with. Everything is working very smoothly and this will serve our needs for some time. If I have any future work to be done, I certainly will call on you to do it.

I was foolish enough to hire a "handyman" to work on my plumbing and heating. It turned out that he was both dishonest and incompetent. I am writing this letter in the hopes of saving someone else the grief and money loss that I experienced. Phil Carey of Starburst Construction is skilled and completely honest. He repaired all the mistakes done by the handyman and did a perfect job of converting a masterbedroom suite. Everything turned out exactly as I wanted. I especially appreciated Phil's frequent phone calls to keep me informed and the fact the he didn't make any additional charges. I feel very secure knowing that I can rely on Phil in the future and get exactly what I need done.
