  • Based upon need a design approach is decided upon:
    *The bid approach is the oldest approach. It is where the homeowner works with an architect and asks builders to bid on constructing these plans. We, at Starburst, are happy to work with you on pre-set plans from architects.
    *Design/Build enables you to have a single point of contact from design and budget analysis to scheduling and completion. This approach is valuable in that the communication is more streamlined, issues are more readily solved and the budget for building is part of the design process.
    *The Team Approach brings together an architect/designer, recommended to you by Starburst or someone else and the builder, Phil Carey, who both work together from concept to completion on your project. This ensures the design is buildable and within your budget. Sometimes this collaboration even brings fresh new ideas that make your house even better.
  • A budget Analysis and costs are evaluated and finalized with as much detail as possible to avoid changes.  
  • Construction documents, permits and contracts are approved and signed. Insurance and liability certificates are forwarded to you (the homeowner).
