Fall/Winter Checklist

Look at the roof to ensure all intact
Clean and inspect gutters and downspouts
Caulk windows and doors if needed
Check the pressure on Fire Extinguishers
Clean the humidifier/dehumidifier monthly
Change furnace filters monthly /Schedule a HVAC maintenance appt.
Inspect the chimney for cracks
Inspect the crawlspace or basement, for cracks or daylight
Inspect Drainage and the foundation for cracks and that water is draining away from the house
Inspect siding, fascias and soffits for area’s water could leak into
Inspect faucets, sinks and pipes for leaks
Test smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector batteries
Weather-strip doors if can see daylight
Prepare for a power outage
Save contractor information in case of emergency
